In partnership with the Boys and Girls Club of Ft. Saskatchewan, and with the support of our hard working Cyber Eagles, we were thrilled to work with these awesome future Innovators in the construction of bridges and catapults.
Using only small wooden craft sticks, glue and elastic bands, students constructed catapults to “defend their village” from their foes and then build a bridge strong enough so the villagers could cross a river to safety.
Students get to learn about engineering concepts and design in a fun and creative way, and it was really interesting to see their ideas and projects.
